Chocolate Cream Frosting 1/2 c. evaporated milk dash of salt 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. confectioner's sugar, sifted Combine evaporated milk and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat until mixture just barely comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Cool for 5 minutes, then gradually blend sifted confectioner's sugar into the mixture. Source: The Cookie Cookbook |
